Spreading Passion in Community
It was a love affair with pets and the loss of a job that gave birth to The Barker Barber. After grooming pets for friends and family for 25 years, I decided to take my sudden unemployment as my chance to start my own business and do what I really love.
After going to school and finishing
up at the top of my class, I realized my dream of starting my own pet grooming shop. Since then I have loved sharing my passion for caring for animals with others in the community.
Finding a Home for Homeless Pets
My wife and I wanted to further spread our love for animals, so we decided to become volunteers for the Wanderer's Rest Humane Society.
After adopting our five dogs and two cats from there, we wanted to give back and help more animals find their families. We provide grooming services for the animals free of charge, so they're ready to catch the eye of prospective owners.
